Excellent presentation, the only flaws being a couple of lab splices. It was Royal Park 16, auditorium #9 (strange thing is that every movie I've ever seen at Royal Park has been in Auditorium #9). I think its a cute trailer, but you are right it doesnt do a whole lot for impressing customers with sound. We just put those on not too long before the Regal takeover. Which former 'Eastern Federal' theatre did you see this at? The reason I didn't like this one is that a sound system trailer should show the capabilities of the system not just show that there are multiple channels. City is probably my favorite of the newer ones (although it's probably 10 or 11 years old now) because it had impact. NOTHING beats the original 'Dolby Stereo Digital' Train trailer.
They aren't horrible, but the Dolby City trailer is still my favorite. Nothing too impressive sonically and the scope trailer was windowboxed. Then it said 'Curious Where Great Sound Comes From?' followed by black screen with the Dolby Digital Logo. It was Curious George opening trap doors on the screen corresponding to sound. Has anybody else seen this? I saw it at a formerly Eastern Federal Regal today.
